Can I use miswak while fasting in Maliki fiqh?

Malik said none of the people of knowledge disliked the use of the miswak any time throughout the day while fasting in Ramadan. Nor did any scholars forbid this.

وحدثني عن مالك  أنه سمع أهل العلم لا يكرهون السواك للصائم في رمضان في ساعة من ساعات النهار لا في أوله ولا في آخره ولم أسمع أحدا من أهل العلم يكره ذلك ولا ينهى عنه
