Recently, a guide to the Maliki madhab and its various books was published on Ummahspot.com. It is a brief foray into the Maliki school’s books, and covers important texts for both new students of Maliki Fiqh, as well as a guide for non-Malikis who want to understand the school as well. The guide explores various regional trends such as the Iraqi Malikis and impactful books such as Mukhtasar Khalil, Jami’ al Ummahat, and Mukhtasar Ibn Arafa, and their resulting commentaries, critiques, and summaries.
